Mail Order Holiday Front Desk Concierge (Finance)
We screen everyone who comes to work each day for symptoms.

What is the pay?
$15 per hour
Are there any other perks?

What kinds of things do you do in this job?
Greet & assist every customer, employee, & visitor at the front door.
Health screen all employees & visitors.
Shoveling & salting sidewalks.
Oversee parking lot, sides of building during overnight shifts, by walking the parking lots.
Assist with any projects or tasks needed.
Walk employees to vehicles as necessary.
Hand out employee paychecks.
Assist serving meals to staff.
Keep vending machine stocked.
Assist with employee call offs & attendance record keeping.
Help with new employee onboarding & orientation classes.
Where is this job?
Zingerman's Mail Order Warehouse is located at 610 Phoenix Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. We are on the AATA bus route.
What does it take to get hired?
There are a lot of things we are hoping to find in anyone who applies, but there are three musts.
You must be available to work at least 3 shifts per week.
You must have customer service experience & love to make people smile.
You must be comfortable with overseeing parking lots, going outside, walking around and making sure our campus is safe.
What kinds of skills are required for this job?
You love to smile and help people. It is your passion.
English fluency.
Comfortable bending, lifting, sitting for 8 hour shifts.
Will I get full time work?
We aim to. You must be available 3 shifts per week, full time availability is preferred.
When does this job begin and end?
Immediately. It ends on or around January 17th, 2022. You can pick your start date.
Can I apply for full time work after the job ends?
Yes, we encourage it. We'll have a limited number of part time positions at Mail Order plus part & full time positions elsewhere in the Zingerman's Community of Business after the job ends.

What's the hiring process like?
We don't have a typical interview for our holiday crew. Instead, we will invite you to attend a trial shift (you get paid!) that will give you a sense of the position and will allow us to see if you have the energy & skills for this position. We invite applicants a few times a week that usually happens within days after you apply, hiring decision happens right away after your trial shift.
