Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
  • Maintain administrative processes related to our union population, including record keeping, payroll deductions, and compliance reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to employment guidelines for temporary staff through onboarding, hours auditing, and offboarding in partnership with staffing agencies.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment verifications, and payroll assistance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on operational projects and continuous process improvements.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of compliance filings (e.g., Affirmative Action Plan, California Pay, EEO-1, VETS-4212) through data validation and analysis.
  • Track and support AAP goals and related compliance efforts with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and document standard operating procedures for compliance and operational workflows.
  • Perform recurring data audits, generate ad hoc reports, and maintain accurate employee data across systems.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
  • 2–3 years of experience in HR operations, data analysis, or compliance
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, and experience with compliance reporting (AAP, EEO-1, VETS-4212, CA Pay) preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Oracle, Workday, ADP, or similar
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Collaborative, deadline-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • The base salary for this role is between $66,000 - $80,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
