2nd Shift Industrial Painter (Finance)
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
Spray paint parts as directed for surface protection and quality appearance.
Maintains gun and equipment and leaves equipment clean and fully functional for the next shift.
Has working knowledge of Pioneer Metal Finishing tracking system.
Must acquire a working knowledge of each paint department area: line load/unload, mask, paint, and rework.
Communicates with co- painters on proper painting techniques of parts.
Works with Lead Painter on inspection of product leaving paint booths.
Consistently produces a quality product in an efficient and safe manner.
Required to assist in different departments as utility worker when production dictates.
Performs paint booth maintenance when necessary.
Adheres to strict safety standards and enforces safety codes for all coworkers in the department.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to periodically lift 10-50 lbs.
May occasionally be exposed to high places.
· Must be able to differentiate between color variance.
· Potential splash exposure near process lines.
· Responsibilities are repetitive in nature.
· Various chemicals used in the process.
Must be able to meet the following physical demands for at least 90% of the workday:
Stand
Walk
Climb
Balance
Kneel
crouch
crawl
Use of hands/fingers to feel or handle equipment
Pushing or pulling of various weights
Education/Qualifications
· High-school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Minimum one to three years related job experience.
Good oral and written communication skills.
