Project Manager, Network Provisioning (Information Technology)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager Network Provisioning will lead and coordinate network projects, with a focus on customer circuit deprovisioning, circuit grooms, hardware & network decommissioning, and network augmentations. You will serve as a key liaison between engineering, operations, and customers to ensure seamless execution of network initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve in a strategic Program Management role for full lifecycle network deprovisioning projects. 
  • Identify, communicate and track monthly/quarterly/annual goals and maintain accurate project documentation, including network diagrams and provisioning records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, NOC, operations) and external partners (telecom carriers, wireless providers) to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Primary point of contact for customers responsible for managing expectations, resolving issues, and ensuring project standards are met.
  • Provide guidance on fiber design, provisioning, and network optimization strategies; ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Oversee circuit grooming, hardware commissioning, and network augmentation efforts across enterprise and data center environments.
  • Use internal systems and software tools to track project progress, manage resources, and support automation initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent work experience

Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in telecom project management, network provisioning, or field operations.
  • Technical knowledge of fiber optic networks, circuit provisioning workflows, and data center connectivity, as well as experience working with telecom carriers, and wireless providers.
  • Strong understanding of fiber optic technologies, Ethernet, DWDM, SONET/TDM, and data center network architecture.
  • Experience with circuit provisioning, network migrations, and hardware deployments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise and wireless service offerings.
  • Familiarity with NOC operations, network monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

Where You Will Work

This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Tuesday through Thursday.  On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.  There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.

Compensation
The salary range offered for this position is $91,200 - $125,400 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
