What you will do
The Automation Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business functions and the Automation Team. You will work with the business to identity opportunities for improvement and automation. It is essential that you can ‘translate' business capabilities into functional requirements. And, also to work with business stakeholders and IT Delivery teams to help develop Intelligent Automation solutions, test, and deploy into production. You will also have to be involved in process mapping, process mining, project scoping, user testing, documentation, production analysis, project management, continuous improvement whilst working in Agile environment and support alignment of Business and IT objectives. How you will do it
Help the Automation Delivery Lead, Center of Finance IT (CeFIT) Team and Continuous Improvement (CI) Team to discover and scope business processes suitable for Intelligent Automation
Promote next generation of Intelligent Automation technology, such as AI, Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to discover more project opportunities in these areas
Create Initial Process Analysis, Business Case and Scope of Work for the automation projects
Understand the difference between Process Automation and Process Reengineering
Responsible for creating up to date Process Definition Document (PDD)
Translate business capabilities and process designs into functional requirements and/or user stories and work with business stakeholders to review and secure sign-off/agreement on requirements/stories
Analyze production reports, exceptions and completed transactions to define, scope and design change requests which will improve the overall success rate of the solution in production.
Understand the complexity level of business process (standardization and limited transformation before automation, unlimited types of applications involved in process – ability to scope) and transformation ideas
Propose automation/robot schedule with minimum idle time based on data driven approach and business SLAs
Understand which data are needed for the business in order to make the right decision regarding solution proposed
What we look for:
Bachelor's degree
Good understanding of IT Change Management
Experience working with IT Developers or Business SMEs
Good experience in project documentation (PDD, HLD, SDD, SOW, Cost Model, etc.)
Ability to understand and describe new IT technologies to the business teams
Process design documentation experience using flow charts or BPMN. Map business process flows, including all critical data elements (e.g. supplier, input, output etc.)
Understand which data influence the choice of happy path, scope of project, AHT and scheduling
Good knowledge of data analysis and reporting and experience with each type of project, ability to propose workaround for handling each type of project
Great verbal and written communications skills
English language to a business proficiency level
Experience in process optimization and standardization
Any RPA tool, Microsoft Cognitive Services, Project Management, Agile or Scrum certification
Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts
Support utilization of IT-internal governance processes
Basic concept UiPath, Blue Prism, any BPM tool
Concept about process scheduling and server utilization
