The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting Goodwill's retail growth and inventory readiness by leading a team responsible for processing unsorted donated goods. This position oversees the intake, sorting, and preparation of inventory to ensure a steady, high-quality supply of merchandise for both new store launches and ongoing retail needs across the region. The Production Supervisor ensures daily production targets are met, maintains safety and quality standards, and fosters a team culture centered on efficiency, accountability, and mission impact. This role partners closely with supply chain, store operations, and central processing leadership to drive inventory flow and build capacity for growth.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee daily processing of donated goods—ensuring proper sorting, pricing, tagging, and packaging
  • Champion Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to enhance process efficiency, service quality, and team performance
  • Model and reinforce a culture of respect, belonging, and accountability in every interaction
  • Maintain a current and up-to-date understanding of and comply with all agency policies and procedures

Hiring Range:  $19.01-$20.15/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent AND 3 years experience required OR
  • Associates' Degree AND 2 years experience OR
  • Bachelors' Degree AND 1 years experience
    • Required Experience: Leading a team in a retail, production, or service environment. Assigning tasks, managing workflows, and running a shift. Handling customer concerns or escalations.
    • Preferred Experience: Coaching or supporting employee performance. Experience in accurately processing donated goods. Experience in enhancing inventory processes in a donation environment.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • A forklift certification must be obtained within 30-days of hire
