Manager Derivative Operations (Finance)
Job Description
Global Derivative Services (GDS) is responsible for all middle office functions that support derivative trading company wide, including both the General Account and 3rd party funds managed by Manulife Investment Management. Over $300 billion notional is currently being managed across multiple legal entities, segments and portfolios. Instrument types include cleared and over-the-counter swaps, futures, options and FX. Daily functions include derivative trade capture, trade confirmations, reconciliation resolution and fielding general inquiries. Collaborating with the front office, Solutions, IT and other operations teams will be essential for success.
Reporting to the Director of Derivative Operations, the Derivative Operations Manager must establish effective working relationships with various business unit managers and traders to ensure a timely and accurate trade life cycle.
